Among the hand-painted tiles and the most modern technology, the cooking school at Don Alfonso 1890 teaches the secrets of Mediterranean cuisine.

The goal of the courses is to share food preparation techniques for Mediterranean dishes by searching for absolute quality and an indispensable value that maintains that wealth of flavors, skills and secrets.

The Sorrento Peninsula is full of pathways and mule tracks that have been used for hundreds of years, in some cases even for millennia, to connect the points of interest and the various small villages of the peninsula.

Today most of these paths, still largely used, wind through olive groves that are centuries years old, lemon groves and small plots used for the cultivation of vegetables, mostly family-run. Walking along these paths, you can touch the most authentic and genuine face of our territory, its customs and traditions.  always offering landscape views of great beauty, whether you take the Path of the Gods, one of the most celebrated paths in the world, or other shorter and less demanding ones, that can be found in the immediate surroundings of the Don Alfonso 1890. 

For some years now, Sant ‘Agata sui Due Golfi has also been offering nice horseback rides to discover new horizons in the company of expert guides and horses that are not only means of locomotion, but extraordinary companions of adventure thanks to their innate empathy with humans. The itineraries take you through narrow streets, villages, alleys and, above all, through lush nature.  Exciting views of our two coasts make each rider’s eyes open wide with amazement.  Particularly suggestive are the walks that can be done during dawn or sunset.

Thanks to the passion of local cyclists and the desire to offer guests of our peninsula a different and fun hiking perspective, this new kind of excursion was created ... Guided by expert cyclists, you can take e-bike rides through alleys and paths in search of the most hidden and characteristic corners of our land.

For more prepared cyclists, high-performance racing bikes are also available for excursions along the two coasts....
